GCSE English Equivalency Test

At York Private Tutors we are working very closely with MME to provide you with the English GCSE Equivalency exam which can help trainee teachers and others to gain access to higher education and job opportunities.

These GCSE Equivalency exams/courses are usually completed by teachers in training in order to help them to gain access onto their chosen university/higher education course.

The UK Government has a set curriculum and specification for these equivalency exams. This is what we have based our exams and their specifications for English and GCSE Language. These curriculums and specifications will ensure that you are prepared in all areas amongst spelling, grammar, punctuation and comprehension.

MME, one of our main providers; will ensure that you have all the necessary and essential resources so that you are in the best possible place to sit your GCSE English Equivalency exam. This is due to them providing: 24/7 online revision course, 3 practice exam papers (following the same layout as the real one), 2 mock papers that are professionally marked by a trained examiner and a set of GCSE Revision cards to ensure that you are as prepared as you can be to sit your final exams and prosper onto your teaching career!

As soon as you believe that you are ready to take your exam, you will choose a provider of the English exams and choose when to do it. All the exams taken are taken remotely and via a video call with an Ofqual approved invigilator. They will then monitor your exam which will last between 1.5 to 2 hours long then you will receive your results within 2 weeks after!
