Entry Level 3 Maths

While many desire to go straight into taking their Functional Skills Level 2 Maths exam. Some however will not be ready. In that case, they will be asked to study entry-level 3 maths to progress through either their qualification. At York Private Tutors, we will help you with this. Ensuring that you are well prepared for your exam.

We do this through a mixture of tutoring and the providing of excellent, high-quality revision materials. The one that we would recommend is created by Pass Functional Skills. Their entry-level 3 maths materials will be clearly shown as a table. Covering all topics from the curriculum, including angles, fraction basics, symmetry and 2D shapes, and even money and time. By clicking on one of the many topics, you will be provided access to multiple resources. Consisting of:

• The revision material itself

• Worksheets

• Answers to said worksheets

Once you have become confident in the subject matter, you can then move on to the next resource. These been the entry-level past papers. By using these, you can test your newly gained knowledge. Then while using the marking scheme, you will see exactly where you are struggling with. So you can go back and revise the subjects you are weak in.

Once you have done this a couple of times. It will be time to book your exam!

Then once you have passed and gained your qualification. You can then think about working towards your functional skills. You can either do Level 1, or even Level 2 if you wish.
